Mr. Kumar brings with him deep expertise in quantitative investing, portfolio management, and systematic strategies across India and the Asia Pacific region. He joins Bandhan AMC from Axis Asset Management Company, where he played a key role in building and strengthening the quantitative investing vertical for the fund house. Prior to Axis AMC, he was based in Hong Kong and worked with SilverTree and Asiya Investments as a Portfolio Manager managing long-only and long-short investment strategies. He began his investment management career with Asiya Investments and has since built significant experience in quantitative research, portfolio construction, and data-driven investing frameworks.
Mr. Kumar holds an MBA from Purdue University, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mumbai University.
